Peggy Catron-Ping, Ed.D., is an Instructor in the Department of Communication at the University of Arkansas, where she has taught since 2004. Her teaching includes interpersonal communication, small-group communication, and public speaking, and her broader academic work has examined organizational development, leadership, and how people work effectively within institutions. Peggy holds an Ed.D. from the University of Arkansas, a Master of Theological Studies from Phillips Theological Seminary, and an M.A. from Missouri State University; more recently, she studied at the University of Arkansas School of Law from 2023–2026.

As a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Offsite Construction, Peggy brings an interdisciplinary perspective to the organizational and institutional challenges surrounding changes in building delivery. Her background in communication and organizational development is particularly relevant to questions of collaboration, professional education, governance, and the adoption of new practices across established institutions, while her legal studies add another perspective on the rules and responsibilities that shape industry change. Her work helps broaden CfOC’s inquiry beyond technical systems to include the educational, legal, and human systems required for lasting transformation.
