Kelly Justin Wilson, PE, is the Founder, CEO, and CTO of Structural Analysis & Design Engine (SADE), a technology company developing AI-driven tools to automate structural analysis, engineering reports, and permit-ready drawings for residential construction. His career spans structural engineering, building design, construction, product development, and software engineering, including seven years as Engineering Manager for Product + Innovation at Project FROG, where he worked on rapidly deployable, high-performance building systems. He has also worked as a software engineer, designer, contractor, and project engineer, giving him an unusually broad perspective on how buildings move from concept through engineering, fabrication, and construction.

As a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Offsite Construction, Kelly brings particular expertise in the intersection of structural engineering, computational design, automation, and productized building systems. His current work explores how software and artificial intelligence can encode engineering knowledge into repeatable digital workflows—an important complement to CfOC’s work on configurable products, standardized interfaces, and digital tools for industrialized construction. Kelly is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and holds both a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, along with undergraduate degrees from Lehigh University.
